Boyz II Men

Last night I went to see Boyz II Men in Orem. I felt like a giddy 12 year old again! The show was amazing! They sang almost all of their old hits (except So Hard to Say Goodbye) and did a bunch of old Motown hits too. And they still have the moves! They are such charming gentleman too. They hand out roses to girls in the front and they tell you to call your mom and tell her you love her and that the next song is dedicated to her...cheesy I know, but it was great! Yeah, I was jumping up and down and screaming like a super fan...especially when they sang Motown Philly. It was really fun to feel that way again! I would have to say, this concert is in my top 10...and I have seen a lot of shows!
Before the show. Rosie got to the venue at 3 o'clock so she could get good seats. Thanks Rose!

My pics turned out kind of dark, but here they are anyway. I took a bunch of video too.

Rosie worked her way into the meet and greet and said they were super nice guys.

Crested Butte, CO

Jess and I try to get out to see his brother at least once a year. This was kind of a sad trip, because it may have been our last time there since Jake is planning on moving to Durango. Don't get me wrong, Durango will be cool to check out too, but Crested Butte is kind of a nostalgic place for me and Jess. It is where we first really got to hang out and got to know each other (get your minds out of the gutter!). Anyhow, it is always a pleasure to see Jake and everyone in CB.

Love this picture, but kinda upset the lady taking it didn't center it!

Jake, Jess, and Chris. Jakes mullet gets sweeter everytime I see it!

Of course we did some mountain biking. It was even more challenging than normal since we were up at 11,000 feet! What a dork!

This is the aftermath of me hitting a tree root and flipping over the handle bars on our downhill. I don't look too injured, but it sure HURT! I have some scrapes on my elbows and I am so sore! Jess kept saying "Just shake it off. That's what ya gotta do!" Yeah, right Mr. Hardcore...easy for you to say!

Jess had a rough time figuring out how to put up our new tent.

We also did some bouldering...well, Jess more than me.

The lovely little town of Crested Butte.

Mountain biking up AF

Jess and I usually go mountain biking up American Fork canyon since it is not far from our house. This time we actually took pictures. Mountain biking is definitely one of the most challenging sports I have ever taken up. It is especially hard when you have to keep up with your superhuman husband! He will usually do circles around me, so he can actually get a work out instead of stopping and waiting for me all the time.

Squeakies!

Since I don't have children, I get to talk about my dog. Milo turns 1 year old on August 17th...my lil' baby is getting so old! Anyhow, this crazy looking little thing is Milo's favorite toy. He squeaks it like a mad dog and then he likes to mimick the sound by crying a long with the squeak. Recently, he has started to full on howl with it! It is absolutely hilarious! I have tried to catch it on video, but as soon as he sees you he stops. He also has to drag a squeakie into bed with us every night, so in the middle of the night you will roll over the damn thing and it will scare the living crap out of you!

I just love my little guy! Look at that cute smile! Happy b-day buddy!

Well, here it goes...

I am starting it today...I know, a little behind the rest of the world, but hey, I had to wait for someone around me to finish so I could borrow it (yes, I am cheap).

Double duty

So, I just purchased one of these babies because Milo is shedding like crazy all over the couch and bed. It serves 2 purposes now. As I was rolling away on the bed sheet it started picking up something else...Jess's boogers. Yes, little, nasty, dry boogers! I have know him to be a picker (who isn't, right?), but he claims "They just fall out of my nose while I am sleeping!" But to his defense, the super dry weather has been really hard on his sinuses lately. I bought a humidifier, so hopefully that will help! Sorry for the post babe (I know you never read our blog anyway)!
